I’ve decided to stop the 52 moments project.  I honestly think it went downhill from when the 52 moments site stopped updating.  Instead, I’ve decided to make this into a photo diary instead.  That’s basically what I’ve been doing lately, but now I can post more or less often, depending on what happens.  I think that’s better than a whole bunch of crappy photos (like last week’s since I didn’t have time to take a photo).
So on Wednesday, it was Track & Field Regions.  As expected, I didn’t qualify for anything.  I even got DQ’ed for one of my events.  Even though it was a failure, I had fun.  We climbed the big hill, which was our goal from last year.  The hill was kind of dead, yeah, so it was pretty disappointing, but oh well.

Looking down… at the parking lot.

A photo Sally took of me at the top of the hill.
I’ve done like, no work today.  I printed my newspaper for history, but that’s about it.  I need to actually start doing some work.
moment 15:  I got a new iPod and it has a camera on it.  that’s what this week’s photo is taken with, haha.  My P&S kind of sucks, yeah.  The camera’s 0.7MP, but I think I can live with that.
Like last week, this week has been super busy again.  It was campaign week for student council and culminating projects were starting.  Believe me, the two mixed together are a big no no.
So surprisingly (to me anyways), I won the election and I’m one of the new senior reps.  My speech went better than it did, and people actually laughed.  Yeah, all that hard work paid off, I guess.

This photo is at Riverdale Park on Thursday after track practice.  It was actually such a beautiful day out.  I walked home with Sarah, like I did Tuesday, and Sally, and it was a nice walk.  On Tuesday Sarah and I made a stop at McDonalds for dollar drinks, lol, and we saw Johnny, awks.
I was pretty happy today.  Doing my speech was fun, so that lasted me the whole day.  We waited in line at Starbucks for probably more than an hour before getting a frap.  Then we just chilled there and we went to Sally’s house after.  The photo of this week is when we were walking to her house and we saw her neighbour’s cat.  We stopped there for a full like five minutes taking photos of the cat, hoping the owners didn’t come out.  Then we sat on her new deck and just talked.  Then we walked Rachel out, went back to Sally’s and just discussed tv shows for like, an hour.  It was nice to just relax and not worry about anything for those few hours.
Yeah, I think all this work is getting to me, my head is like ahhhh, I have no idea what I’m saying.
moment 14:  Okay, this week’s moment is a few days late, but I’ve been super busy.
Last weekend I went to Ikea (for the first time!) and got a corkboard.  I can finally kind of see my desk again!  This is a slip of paper people were handing out near the beginning of the school year, I found it in a box on my desk.  It’s a friendly reminder to have it up on my corkboard.
Even though this is considered into the next week, on Saturday I went on my first AGO shift, it was pretty calm actually.  Today I went to volunteer at the Goodlife Fitness Marathons.  I met a guy named Jake who looks like Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen) on Pretty Little Liars.  Yeah, he dipped when he saw his friends though, haha.  After I went to have my first frap.  It was good.
I’m running for student council this year, and starting tomorrow is campaign week with the elections on Friday.  So that’s why I’ve been so busy.  I’ve been making posters and pins all weekend.  Let’s hope for the best.
moment 13:  This week I went to an information session at the city’s art gallery, which is where I’ll be volunteering for the next few months.  They gave me a huge package and with it came this adorable paper clip.  The postcard under it is of a panting by Paterson Ewen, if anyone was wondering.  So yeah, I’m excited to start volunteering there.
I had my first mini-track meet was Wednesday.  The relay team I was in didn’t get in last place, which I’m actually probably too happy about.  After we went to get ice cream at a local ice cream store.  It was so good and actually so worth it.  It was a fun day.
Thursday, I got prank called.  My friend’s cousins called me during class to “ask me to prom”.  I was so confused because I didn’t know it was a prank call.  I won’t go into detail, but ahh, funny stuff.
Today in science class I dissected an eyeball.  Well, I didn’t really do anything.  I was the person who stood as far away as possible trying hard not to puke.  It was disgusting.
moment 12:  This is Melissa playing the piano.  Isn’t she pretty?  Well, you can’t really see her face, but imagine a pretty face.
Earlier this week I opened my locker to this:

Someone slipped one into the lockers of every single person at my school.  That’s over 1000 lockers.  It’s so cute and brightened my day.
So today I went to see Romeo & Juliet.  It was much easier to understand than Twelfth Night, but the stage and props weren’t as good as they were in Stratford.  I didn’t fall asleep during this one!  Yeah, I don’t really appreciate Shakespeare, sorry.  I try to, but I tend to fall asleep watching his plays.
This week’s been normal, but it’s been good.  On Sunday I went to a volunteer session at the AGO and so I’m going to be volunteering there for a few months with Sally.  I met a girl named Sabrina, and I hope to see her again I guess.  I’ve had a lot of tests and more to come, so I should probably study for them.
And I don’t know what to say in these things, sorry if they bore you.  It’s just I can’t think of anything to say anymore because there are no guidelines like the 52mmnts project did.
